After working for Allied Vaughn for a while, my supervisor said that since business is growing, they're looking for an inventor manager.  He asked me if I wanted to be the inventory manager.  I told him yes.  So, I became the inventory manager, continued to help package and ship products as needed.  Every part had a designated part number as it came in with a description and location in the warehouse.  The parts were organized but weren't on the shelves in a numbered order.  At one point, I decided by myself that I would renumber the parts or items in order on the warehouse shelves and it would be a nice surprise for my supervisor.  I told him after I did it. He reminded me about the importance of the previous way.  So, he told me to change it back.  He didn't yell at me or anything else.  He just said, "put it back the way it was.  I think that he knew me well enough and it made sense for me to fix it back.  But, for me, that's an example of my communication and interactions in general and in a work setting.
